life is no longer about Folding...

Intro

Have not update for a while but figured I might. Lifestuff and work projects in the way, I think I’ve rebuild the lab like 6-7 times (get it ;-; )

As it stands currently, I’m number 2 in the country, sub-200 in the world and have been for the past 18 months. I hade a short stint of being number 1, but then “prolle” engaged their quad 3090’s I believe, such is life.

Bummer I can’t find a valid position 1 screenshot but that’s that. Bye bye gtx4090, you were awesome, thanks Hostkey!

What’s next?

Well, another rebuild, this time compute heavy and 2.5GBe-focused with a new uGreen TrueNas setup. Most things virtual, and I’ll put my rpi5 to good use. Maybe an article in the coming days.

As a sidenote, my playthrough gaming channel is live and I update it when I can, it’s been fun so far at least.

Closing thoughts

The new lab will be about simplicity and KISS, I don’t have the time and patience anymore.
